The Mayor and Mayoress of Bracknell Forest and the Deputy Mayor of Bracknell Town attended The Bracknell Forest Society's evening with their President, BBC Correspondent Daniela Relph, as guest speaker and the Chairman, Rev Michael Bentley. It was held at Garth Hill College where Daniela was a former pupil

The Bracknell Forest Mayor, Cllr Chris Turrell, and the Mayoress, Ms Diana Henfrey, judged the entries at the Bracknell Horticultural Association's Marrowthon. Elliot Woodage, 11, and Tony Moore were the prizewinners
